Loving 51st!

I’m loving the new season, 51st, for its deep dive into DC history and it’s residents’ fight for self rule, representation, and statehood. And I am so delighted to hear from experts on DC’s history, like George Derek Musgrove and Chris Myers Asch (authors of Chocolate City) and longtime residents/icons, like Kojo Nnamdi!

Awesome

I love this podcast and have learned all kinds of interesting things about DC. The city has a real history and identity that isn’t immediately obvious especially to the many of us who have moved here. This podcast helps reveal all of that. Keep it up!!

A Lot of Nothing

Every time I listen to What’s with Washington I’m shocked at how little they actually say/tell me. The episode on fashion was a very good example. It’d be better if they’d develop more meat for their stories.
